Basically,

  • The PD position for 97.1 and 106.7 was deleted as a "cost saving move." These of course, were the cluster's two lowest-ranked stations.
  • The market manager resigned to "return to Tampa."

Sounds like either

  • Someone in Atlanta wasn't happy
  • The stations are about to go on auto-pilot
  • A sale of the the two properties is imminent
