Cumulus News Extraordinaire Moves On

Friday was a :) happy-sad :'( day for those of us at Cumulus Bangor. Our news director-reporter, Allison Bankston, moved on to pursue a new venture. She gave the Cumulus listening audience nine years of hardwork. Allison has been such a great friend through the years. Her professionalism, charm, and wit, especially with the Breakfast Flakes on Q-106.5, will be missed from the airwaves.

Thanks Allison! You're loved and missed already.

PS There is a replacement for Allison, but I'm not at liberty to say who it is. I can tell you that she is known, and she'll be great.

I'd like to add my thoughts to those from Nelz. Allison Bankston is one of the most amazing people I've ever had the good fortune to work with. She is a true professional, with just enough "fun" mixed in to make her an exceptional person. Allison is going on to a great opportunity and they're lucky to have her. Cumulus will never be quite the same.

Best of luck, Allison, although I know you won't need it!

Not to mention Allison was a heck of a singer and songwriter on the side, even "crossed the river" one night to do a set on a certain local music show . . .

Good luck, Allison, you're a class act and you deserve it! (Even though I found a couple of those links on the "Groovewheel" website a trifle . . . disturbing!)
