Cumulus now tracking prescriptions

Dickey and the gang are probably tracking this. If you work for this company and have the opportunity to bail.......JUMP NOW!!

Not sure what happened to the link but here's what the article said:

1. Dickey fired his HR person and is personally overseeing his company's health care plan

2. He's especially looking at prescription drugs. Tracking who is purchasing them. Doesn't know what's being purchased but can see who is using the plan.

The implication being if you are purchasing prescription drugs and a "heavy user", you are costing the company money and would be up for termination.

Privacy issues come to mind.

Wow. I thank God I don't work for them. I'd be the first to go, taking 9 meds a day. Counting my blessings now. ;)

So is this the future of health care? Get healthy or be out of a job? If you can't get a job...you can't get your meds....which means you might die....but, then again....that's not Dickey's problem now is it. If you think this is bad....HANG ON.....we're in for a wild ride once the government gets more control over this sort of thing.
