i heard Cumulus Youngstown is gonna have some serious budget cutbacks...have not heard specific names......

i'm sure all of cumulus will have budget cutbacks......it has not been a good year for them

Lets see, John Trout "left" in August, Hunter got a PD job in Virginia in what, September?
They haven't had a mid-day jock since (weekender Kelin has been handling it), afternoons are sometimes covered by J-Dub and sometimes by Brandy.
Does it really take THIS LONG to find a PD!? I realize its Cumulus, but its also a legendary station! I'd imagine some good talent putting their hats in the ring for that gig, but perhaps not, who knows...

Perhaps everyone is getting shown the door eventually? They've taken so long to replace Trout and Hunter, maybe they have no intentions of doing so.
Jack-FM?? The music is already close enough, it has ZERO focus!

It hasn't been a good year for any radio company, especially the Wall Street companies. That's why they're trying to go private.

Probably true. I've heard that his plan was to move to the Las Vegas area after he graduates in December.
