I have it on good authority that Cumulus is losing all of its Atlanta engineers and half of its production department. Time for a wake up call, maybe?

Don't know where they're all going, but I'm sure they're headed for greener pastures.

Maybe the vertically challenged one will actually have to do some engineering work. I kinda doubt he even knows how to use a soldering iron...
The ex-chief has a 9-5 job now. The IT guy is going to work for nice people (Cox.) Dick Byrd, longtime 92.9 chief, is currently the lone ranger but will be gone by April. (Byrd is retiring)
I can't help but wonder why the Dickys treat their employees so poorly. They inherited all Lew Sr.'s money....what more do these boys want?

The longtime Chief Engineer, Marc Lehmuth, left to work for former Kicks PD Mark Richards. Lehmuth's #2 guy, Tim Stephens, was then supposed to become CE. But he quit and went to Cox. The only engineer left is Dick Byrd, and he's about to retire.

So far, Mark Richards' company, which I believe creates infomercials for radio, has hired Mike Macho, Kevin Steele, Randy Cook, Kristin Charles and Lehmuth, all formerly Cumulus/Atlanta employees.

I dont care who ya are---thats funny.

The whole market is in the toilet. I hear too many PSAs on the air. I was DXing the other night and Chicago and St. Louis seem to be doing much better. Or either they have much better sales persons than Atlanta.

The last >RUMOR< I heard was Bert was considering a move. The source was not particularly credible, so it remains a rumor.

Graham has done fill ins for Laura Ingraham. He was on WTKK-FM Boston for about 8 years (they changed to hip hop a yr ago and he had a network of AM stations carrying him after that). Grew up in S.C., wrote several books, more than a few controversies (got fired from WMAL Wash DC after anti-Muslim remarks). Columnist for Boston Herald, etc.
