T-Mobile is using the 600 MHz band for 5G particularly in rural areas due to the good signal range. 900 MHz isn’t used for cellular in the U.S.

I'm sorry brain fart. I left telecom a while back. I worked for Lucent in Bell South / Cingular switch offices on their 4E switches, and Bell South, AT&T, and Alltel 5E switches.
