Cumulus starts the Chainsaw!

The Ax is out, and already swinging, and Cumulus doesn't even get the station till tomorrow! However "Pre Take Over" an insider told me 10 staffers got it today. I heard at least 1 Air Staff member mentioned. One of their better reporters too. Isabel Lemmon "retired" yesterday. She was their Promotions Person, had been their since NBC, When it was a real radio station not a Giant "radio commercial" interupted by sports.The word on the street is that GM Salvador is out when they hand the key to Cumulus.
 
I Don't know. But I doubt a format change. They do own sports in this town, and it would be very expensive for them to Blow Up all those Team Contracts. Niners, Warriors, Giants. They are long term deals. $$$BTW I wrote "Giant" (as in to many commercials) not Giants as in ball club.
 
Shame for Macgowan

What a shame for Macgowan. Awkward to look at but knew his stuff on the air. At times a homer, but in a good sense. If Salvadore is out, thank goodness. I'm sure alot of staffers are relieved just like they were when BA left. Hopefully, ***. is smart enough to keep Hammer.
