Cumulus syndicating Huckabee

WSBA has so many PSA's it is beginning to make a run at 1440 for the most PSA's per hour outside of AM Drive.

Cumulus is promoting Huckabee as an alternative to the bombastic and circus clown antics of El Rushbo.
Is it possible that 910 will see Cumulus dropping the "annointed one" in favor of Huckabee?
The PSA count (no prostate jokes...please) can't go much higher. In very conservative and evangelical Central Pennsylvania is Huckabee the way to go?

When the dust settles, there is NO WAY Hiuckabee will even come close to the ratings Rush still gets in most markets. WSBA has a sales problem more than anything else. The Rush controversy will blow over.

That being said, I fully expect Cumulus to force SBA to run Huckabee.

Agreed, Rush isn't going anywhere, no matter what the left tries to do.

I posted the question because Cumulus has to obtain as wide a footprint as possible in the top 100 markets for Huckabee.

No doubt, Limbaugh is the top draw in terms of right wing audience by a w...i...d...e margin.
I can imagine WSBA continuing to carry Limbaugh despite the sales problems that seem to be cropping up with local advertisers (way too many PSA's).

Hannity will most likely be kept in PM Drive and despite the butchered schedule in the summer at night caused by baseball it is quite possible that 910 will drop Savage and add Huckabee (db'd).

Cumulus is not exactly run by a bunch of "nice guys" and make no mistake about it Huckabee will be finding air time on almost all of Dickey's talk stations......including WSBA!!

They could also put Huckabee on at 6 and push Savage back to 9.

IMO, Limbaugh should have been dumped after the drug incident. THAT turned me off listening to him. The only time I listened is when he had a guest host. It was pure hell wanting talk radio in Central PA and not having an alternate choice between WHP and 910 because they both ran El Bluto.

Like it or not this is a business decision. And until someone truly emerges who can challenge Rush in the 12-3 slot, expect stations to keep him on the air.

For real? No lib talkers ever did something wrong? It's a choice if you prefer to listen to someone or not. If the ratings are there, why do you dump the guy with the ratings? I choose not to listen to Rush but I don't think he or anyone should be forced off the air for things they do or say.

Is Huckabee live from noon to 3 eastern time? If not, he could be put on during a night timeslot if that is what Cumulus has to do. They would not replace the #1 rated show for Mike.

No one knows what Cumulus might do with Huckabee, they may tell ALL their stations that carry Rush to dump him, put Huckabee on in his place so they can get rid of having to pay to carry a show (Rush ain't a freebe). The one that may really benefit from all this is WHP/WLAN. But who listens to Rush anyway, his 'act' is getting real old.

Premiere is very adept at syndicating talent with 4 of their properties in the top 10.
1. Rush Premiere
2. Sean Premiere
3. Morning Ed NPR
4. All Things Cons NPR
5. Savage TRN
6. Marketplace NPR
7. Beck Premiere
8. Levin Cumulus
9. Ramsey self
10. Delilah Premiere
Levin is Cumulus’ silver lining but it is not for lack of talent…Imus, John Batchelor, Kidd Kraddick, Kix Brooks – all come under the Cloud.

Someone does if he's the #1 talk show from the right in America.

Because the left doesn't need to be validated
