Cunningham VS Springer Coming to a TV station Near You

2 clowns on a TV show. May be popular. This has got to be an idea of Randy Michaels since he is running the Tribune.

Seems to be Sean Compton's creation, in his continued quest to make WLW personalities bigger nationally.

a die hard liberal vs. a die hard conservative. Both are entertaining, and up on issues and topics. Heck, I would
watch it.

If it was on a cable news network or PBS it might be interesting but not if its on standard commercial television.

You just know the production and format will be geared for bottom feeders and not for people who might be interested in learning something about an issue.

PBS wouldn't stoop to that level of having those two on. Commercial television has always been like this, go watch Jon Stewart's appearance on "Crossfire" where he pretty much tore the show and others like it to shreds.

To quote a line from the Dead Kennedys classic song "MTV Get Off The Air", "The lowest common denominator rules, Forget honesty, Forget creativity, The dumbest buy the mostest, That's the name of the game". I think that applies to this too.

I dunno that you were watching, but Stewart can't carry Tucker Carlson's thesaurus.

Crossfire was canceled shortly after this. In my opinion, it's a good deconstruction of the news media, and shows why the Daily Show is one of the best media watchdogs out there right now, and why Jon Stewart is, according to a Time Magazine poll, the most trusted newsman in America: http://www.timepolls.com/hppolls/archive/poll_results_417.html

I saw the last 15 minutes of the show.

It was boring.

You could get more information listening to 10 minutes of about any radio talk show.
