The so-called "Voice of Reason" opined erroneously, "You honestly don't think he (Soros') isn't going to want something in return for his "donation?"
Leaving aside the fact that he's not in any way a dominant funding source for public broadcasting (which makes "VoR"'s comment once again irrelevant, though irritatiing), Mr. Soros would never have such an impact on NPR editorial content, which everyone who has seriously examined the issue knows is freer of partisanship and bias than any other national medium. Unfortunately that is the bone of contention--there are those with a definite agenda to sell who hate NPR because it's the one place they know they can't sell it without the other side being presented in contrast.
