curious about the mix in here

Got ears wet doing PSA programming for two iconic Taft Broadcasting stations in the early 80's, worked in TV for many years, been out of it for 6 and miss being in both forms of broadcasting. And still have my FCC license from 1981.

hey thanks to all who replied. nice to know the mix. myself - started in programming jumped to sales. i learned early where the money in radio was.

Just a fan of radio and music in general. Have done some video production and know a couple of broadcasting folks around town.

A teenaged disc jockey for a little over a year way back in 1961, then fate took me in another direction.

Ever since, I've followed the path from being a member of highly prized targeted audience, to an overlooked and neglected demographic. That's OK. I had my time in the spotlight.

Throughout it all, I've enjoyed reading about the business of radio.
