You know what we need to maybe bring back dance music to FM Radio is to have a station play whatever they want during the daytime and then after 8PMto the next day play all cutting edge dance from house, freestyle (yes new freestyle), trance, have live remotes from clubs where only the elite can get into and local clubs as well. Dont worry about hiring big name on air personalitys but have a few mixers that know the art of mixing and give it time and the listeners will go and you will get solid2.5-3.0 ratings and make decent money.

Yes, Tony, it's heated, but meaningful dialogue that's going to accomplish something needs to be heated; at the end of the day, the plain and simple fact is that "dance" ,just like the Metropolitan Opera House, has , (in the words of the new york times)"grown somewhat isolated artistically" and needs to "reconnect it(self) to the world".
Even if we have to drag it, kicking and screaming, to make that reconnect...or else, it's just gonna die as far as the mainstream,terrestrial radio world is concerned.

Oh yeah, without question on that! And sometimes you have to turn on the heat to get the issues out on the table to make people talk.
Totally agree with that! If no one has clicked into this thread yet..DO SO! All of the discussions going on are definitely eye-openers. But as Jimi said above, it is meaningful dialogue that's going to accomplish something.
