CURRENT FALL 2011 WEEKLY TV GRID

Here's the latest TV grid (5 English networks) from TV Guide. Wednesday has the most new
series (eight). Interesting that although ABC's Comedy Wednesdays are very popular, they are
almost re-making it. Only THE MIDDLE and MODERN FAMILY return. That night on ABC will
actually be 60% new series (2 hours.....66% timewise, and I think REVENGE is a drama).

Any other observations you see?

Actually, Happy Endings is returning, as is Cougar Town, but they will use Cougar Town on Tuesdays between runs of DWTS. The only show that is completely new for Wednesdays is Suburgatory, which is replacing one of only two cancelled shows for that block (Better With You). The other show ABC cancelled was Mr Sunshine, which was terrible (and also a freshman comedy).

They just have a hard time finding something that fits in that last half hour slot. Last year it was Hank, this year it was Better With You.
