Current Longest Running Morning Show Host On One Station

With WYSP getting its first new morning host since 1986, who is now the longest running morning show (on the same station continuously) in Philadelphia now? I'd have to guess Angelo Cataldi at WIP - didn't he first co-host with Tom Brookshier around 1990?

In the surrounding areas I would guess Jim Gearhart at NJ 101.5 and Darryl Berger at WNPV.

I didn't count non-continuous shows or at different stations - Mary Mason has been on WHAT for years but left to do late mornings on WCAU for a time, and Dave Conant was on WFLN many years until they ended, then was on WRTI the next week. Also didn't count KYW, same morning news presentation for 40 years but with rotating shifts and hosts.

A lot has changed since 1986. Remember some of those old names from back then? Paul Barsky on WCAU-FM, Ross Brittian on WZGO, Tony Bruno on Sunny, and John DeBella on WMMR...

In Wilmington, Allan Loudell was the morning anchor for about 15-16 years at WILM newsradio, the co anchors changed numerous times, but Loudell was there until he left a couple of months ago.

I don't remember if Cataldi hosted with Brookshier or not, but do remember that Cataldi, Bruno, and Morganti were the team in January of 1992, giving him at least a 14 year run, and counting.

Loudell was not the morning anchor for his entire tenure at WILM. He started in mornings sometime in the early to mid 90s, which would make his tenure closer to 11 or 12 years. Mike Dalzell was morning anchor at WILM from 1987 until he left sometime around 1993 or 94.

Yes Angelo Cataldi left the Inquirer to join Tom Brookshier when WIP 1st went to sports,. They were promoted as "Brookie and the Rookie".
