Current Status of WSTC 1400?

I was wondering what is the current status of WSTC 1400 in Stamford is. I know for a while they were simulcasting the brokered programing from WNLK 1350, but then WNLK went off the air for a while and now they're back up and running Catholic Programming (mostly from EWTN) under new ownership Veritas Catholic Network. Is 1400 off the air or is it back to simulcasting WSHU's programming? Or is it running the brokered programming that had been on 1350?

It has been rebroadcasting WSHU.

Barry and Marc ... yes, WSTC is still airing WSHU. New ... It now has a translator on 105.5. Sacred Heart would love to get the Stamford facility off their hands but there don't seem to be any takers.

At the moment, WGCH in Greenwich is "borrowing" the WSTC translator (unusual) while they deal with a "little problem" of their own. The first of the year, GCH lost their tower (built in 1964) behind an office building on West Putnam Avenue. After several years, the landowner finally shut it down. The radio station is also suffering financially so they are looking for a buyer. Good luck with that!! Who wants "toasters with antennas" (or not) in the graveyard part of the AM dial anymore??
