Curt Boykin...Coyote Collins, Curt Monday

Rochester radio has lost another friend. Curt Boykin died in Nashville, TN last night of a stroke/seizure combination after a difficult year of health issues. He was a wonderful human being that offered Rochester radio listeners hours of friendship, company and much laughter. He was a part of the team at WKLX as Curt Monday and a longtime afternoon drive host/MD/PD at WBEE as Coyote Collins. He went on to program country in Flint, Michigan and then landed back in Nashville at WSIX. He will dearly missed.
 
I worked with Curt at WKLX and he was a wealth of knowledge for a young guy just getting in the business. He will be missed and I'm sorry I didn't see him one more time (he had planned on coming to the Radio Reunion before his first stroke.)
