Curtains For "Skins"?

This show doesnt make any sense better off as a movie. We all know kids do drugs but the writing is horrible and they are trying too hard. Sadly 90210 is better Yes I said it but this show does not make any sense

For MTV to defend "Skins" as they did at first was foolish. As soon as advertisers (and the audience) started heading for the exits it was time to either re-tool the show or shelve it.

It's as if "Skins" and "Jersey Shore" are crossing over into each other.

I have never watched Skins on MTV. Is this a re-run of the BBC version that was on BBCAmerica last year or is this an American version, a la "The Office"?

It's an American remake.

What's surprising is the Clearasil is still advertising, and they've partnered up with MTV to teach teens how to "help make the right choice." Bad move. The show is awful. MTV knows they're reaching teens with junk, they just don't want to admit it.

Is "Skins" airing internationally? Or just in the United States?

It is based on a British series of the same name, which oddly enough, ran on BBC America for
some time where it did not appear to generate any controversy.
