Curtis Sliwa's Guardian Angels Patrolling Central Park

Where can I get one of those kewl T-shirts?

Well, let's add up the motivations here;

-Curtis is a republican in a city now dominated by Democrats.

-He is on an AM radio station that is at the the bottom of the sales demo's.

-He has had serious health problems, ( I stood beside him on a #6 subway and his hands tremble).

-He is 61. This makes him a "youngster" compared to that station's audience.

-If he can't generate some heat with these publicity stunts, he'll be back in front of that judge pleading (yet again) to reduce his alimony payments.

There is something very "Sunset Boulevard" about him.

Alimony payments? Is he paying Lisa that or another one. Does Lisa still have a radio show..

I remember encountering some of these so-called "Guardian Angels" in Seattle back in the '80s (they set up a chapter here back then.) A friend and I were sitting in a park in downtown Seattle, doing nothing else but talking and minding our own business and a couple of them decided to walk up and pick a fight with us. Seemed like there were a LOT of complaints against them for that. I think at some point, they were told to lay off by the Seattle Police Department. I haven't seen them there for ages since.

I've never had a good opinion of them. Then or now.
