Is there a filter or something that will chop off silence at the beginning/end of a file? Putting in hundreds of network spots with leading/trailing dead space is annoying me to the point of attempting to french kiss the AM tower.
______________

Go into the "Edit" section and you'll see a "delete silence" option. Their you can setup the configuration for the silence to be eliminated. Of course keep in mind it will eliminate any silence in the spot as well so you'll have to play with it a little. Hope this helps.
______________

You can also just highlight the audio and hit Cntrl + T "Trim" assuming you didn't change the default shortcuts.
______________
