Cuts in Columbia ?

Haven't heard. Wish everyone over there the best. A lot of very good, hard working people in the Granby Building.

I was told the 4 guys replaced had over 80 years of Columbia radio under their collective belts. (accurate?)
I'll never understand how cutting that much experience makes radio better. And it looks like none of them will be replaced

I don't know everyone they RIF'ed, but I know they got the nighttime and overnight guys. I'm not overly surprised since Cumulus doesn't have much staff in those hours, period. I'm really surprised to find out they have a midday person still to tell you the truth.

They only reason WTCB had as much staff as it did for so long was because it was the LP-1 for Columbia. I'm curious if Cumulus put a trained monkey in charge of the building from 7 PM to 6 AM or if they're just running the EAS on a loop now? I was thinking the building only had one person in it from 7 PM to midnight, and that was on B-106.7. However, if Kiss is live, that jock can monitor the EAS during that time.
