Cuts to the Bone

All Access is reporting that cuts are being made "under the radar" at The Bone. Casualties so far include weekend/swing guy Paladin and weeknight guy Jeff Davis with Da Bone opting to go jockless nights and weekends. I guess it is knida like JACK meets Pugs & Kelly... :-\ Way to go Gary! :-*
 
Considering the cuts company wide, I'd be willing to bet Gary didn't have a whole lot of choice in the matter. When corporate or the GM says cut 20% from your budget, you have choices to make that you'd rather not have to make.

I don't know about 93.3 but I have a feeling that Broadcast Architecture's totally automated (money saving) Smooth Jazz Network will pop up here on the FM dial in the not to distant future. I didn't realize they had spread to so many markets - now, I realize that not all markets listed are "fully automated" but you get the idea... http://www.smoothjazznetwork.com/wheretolisten.html
 
Sorry to hear about the cuts at the mothership. Side note - they're letting the Enco fly on its own? *shudders* Worst. System. Ever.

If we're talking cuts, why not get rid of P&K, they're both a couple of mouth breathers who dont really contribute anything to the airwaves....
