Cuzzin' Linnie terminal

Sam Lee, former KLIF 1190 news, just shared an email from Linnie's wife on Jim Rose Remembers Radio, saying that Cuz is in his last days. Hospice has now been called in, and arrangements are being made. I don't know about his affliction and this is the first news I've heard in some time. Please keep Cuzzin' Linnie and his family in your thoughts and prayers. Linwood Henderson is a vet of KLIF-1190 and KKDA-AM, and one of the first black jocks to break the color barrier in DFW radio.

I used to help Cuz Linnie up the stairs back in 03 at KNON when he'd come in for his shift after I was done with the morning show. He was always nice to me. The reaper comes for us all.

And on top of this, we lost Gil Scott-Heron ("The Revolution Will Not Be Televised"), as well as another KLIF personality.

Thoughts and prayers to Linwood.

Scott Anderson worked at KLIF 570, which other than call letters has relation whatsoever to the legendary Mighty 1190 where Cuzzin Linnie worked. I remember when I first met Cuz at Triangle Point. My prayers go out to him and his family; he will be missed.

My daddy listened to him while he was on. Whatever happens, I hope that mainstream media recognizes Cuzzin Lenny in some way.
