Today on KYW-AM I heard a spot for Action News narrated by Charlie Van Dyke.

How often does CVD do WPVI promos? I've always liked him.

Same here; I also remembered his stints as sub for Casey on American Top 40 in the 1980s.

He was a long-time DJ, though I always thought his voice is more fitting for news.

He's on-call daily to do updates and important items. Otherwise, he has a weekly list of voice-overs for 6.
