cw 14 in Houston?

Hmmm. I can find two CW14's. I think it's probably DirecTV sending the one in Minot, ND to the Houston area by mistake. (It's a cable/satellite only operation that may also be called KWMK at times.)

The only thing is... that station is a CW+ affiliate that should have been showing Steve Wilkos at that time.

The other CW14 is in Green Bay, and it should have been showing LifeChangers at the same time as KIAH (3pm central).

Direct tv.com says on their channel guide HOUSTON KCEB 14 (VIRTUAL) TELEVISION SERVICES FROM TYLER TX. But the Logo on tv says DC 50 CW. THEY'RE BOTH broadcasting Family Guy with Cw 39 running a few seconds ahead.

I think there's a little confusion around here is Channel 14 in Houston supposed to be TheBible Network? because there's a CW affiliate in Houston and That's CW39 (KIAH-TV), NOT CW14.

Yes, OTA 14 in Houston is religious, but it's a Crouch Family-owned Trinity Broadcasting Network station, not the The Bible Network.

Troy.. Directv is carrying WDCW Washington DC on channel 14 for some odd reason. KETH should be there but isn't. I just discovered this myself just now. I came here to see if anyone else was experiencing this. Appearantly so

And yes, the schedule matches up. WDCW airs Maury at 4pm ET/3pm Central. (Tribune owns both stations, but it wouldn't help them in any way to have both stations on in Houston. In fact it might violate some Syndication Exclusivity rules.)

Directv had some type of change with CW affiliates in Tyler-Longview. Until a few days ago, we got KCEB CW54 Longview (which is a CW+ affiliate) on channel 14. Now channel 14 says tune to channel 55 for CW programming, which is now WDCW from DC. I have no idea why this would have affected viewers in Houston. Sounds like a FUBAR on Directv's end.

As of yesterday, Directv in Houston is still showing WDCW Channel 50 from Washington DC, located on Channel 14's position on the receiver. They are still showing KIAH, Houston's Channel 39 with CW programming as well. The program guide even is listing the information for WDCW. I wonder how long this will continue. It was interesting watching the out of market commercials, etc. and the broadcast of the Yankees/Nationals game (even though the game was also on TBS).

I miss that from the early days of WGN and WTBS. I believe KTLA is the last of the superstations that carries local commercials.

And they are breaking the Syndex laws. Just a matter of time before the FCC notifies them.
