CW Engineers: Get your act together!

Does anyone who works at the CW channel in Rochester actually listen to that station?

The reason I'm asking is that Friday night I was watching the season premier of Smallville and there was a "hissing sound" for at least 10 minutes into the program before the audio problem was corrected.

I also DVR "The Dead Zone" reruns and lately the audio sounds like its on a roller-coaster. However there are no audio problems when it comes to the numerous commercials aired during that time slot.

Channel 16 (CW) is owned by WHAM TV. Come on folks and show some professionalism and at least try to make the programs audible on Channel 16 for the viewing audience. You wouldn't dare allow that quality of sound on WHAM TV for a split second.

I have noticed the same problem on CW 16. I can only tell you that the only connections that WHAM 13.1 has with CW16 is sales, and the morning news is comes from the local studio and is carried on 13.2. Everything else comes out of Syracuse. I see general sloppiness on WHAM 13,too. All the master control work there comes out of Syracuse ,too. A defiinite thorn in the local operation. Believe me, if they could move master control of 13.1 and 13.2 back to Rochester they would do it in a heartbeat! It is constantly suggested and constantly turned down by the "out of towners".
Moving master control to Syracuse was opposed by local management from day one. It was an insult to a totally prestigious operation.

"Does anyone who works at the CW channel in Rochester actually listen to that station?"....

Does anyone outside of the employees actually watch the CW Network? ;D
