CW ON PALM SPRINGS CABLE

At last CW will be carried on Time Warner cable in Palm Springs starting saturday. The network has been only available over the air on KCWQ-LP ch.2.
 
Odd, what happened to the WB 100+ station? Why didn't it just morph into a CW 100+ station? And was KTLA carried in the interim?
