CW pulls in worst ratings yet

I have the solution for everyone: The WB's comeback! No??? Am I the only one who misses that network?

What's done is done.

WB's return is as likely as the return of all new Animaniacs episodes.

WB would make a good sister station to Time Warner's cartoon network as an all WB cartoon station though...

Ratings are nice but they don't count. It is ad time sales that count. If you have less viewers but sell the ad time for more, you make more money, and that is all that matters.

Ratings have never been accurate anyway, as Nielsen isn't scientific. It doesn't tell you what people are watching it tells you what NIELSEN families are watching.

UPN did well in some markets like Atlanta and Chicago. In fact WWME Low Power Channel 23 does very well in Chicago by appealing to black viewers. Since blacks tend to live in the city proper and can get the low power signal.

I don't know maybe the CW isn't selling well, but it really hasn't been about ratings for years. I do miss Reba

To be honest the only program I watch on a regular basis on CW is Smallville and that's starting to get long in the tooth. The show is going into its 7th season. Jonathan and Martha Kent are no longer part of the regular cast; Tom Welling has to be close to 30 years old playing a youthful Clark Kent. While I like the original concept of the program, it's time for Smallville to call it quits or take the show to a new level showing Clark Kent leaving Smallville and starting his career as Superman. The down-on-the-farm scenario; the back and forth love affair with Lana Lang, and Lex Luthor's transformation into a modern day Darth Vader has worn out its welcome. Yet if Smallville continues to pull in decent ratings, who knows how much longer the CW will air the series?
