CW33 Has Hit Rock Bottom...

If you look at breakouts of young demographics on the Neilsens, you quickly see that ALL newscasts are drawing tiny numbers of viewers among the under-30 crowd. Not a good sign for the future of TV news.

18-34 has never been a news demographic. For that matter, 18-49 is no longer a news demo. The only one the advertisers and stations care about is 25-54. Channel 33 doesn't do well in ANY demo. That's the biggest problem they have.

Maybe they should end the newscasts, and replace the newscasts with Sitcoms like, Diff'rent Strokes, All in the Family, The Facts of Life, or some sitcoms like that.

From the article:

"CW33 wasn't helped by an 8 p.m. repeat of CW's Hellcats..."

Hell hath no ratings. ::)
