the poststar.com had her obit. though we worked in separate buildings in the same area and field, rip.

What terrible news! I worked with Cynthia while I was at ABC and I always admired her. She was one of those people who always was ready with a joke and willing to pick on anyone - especially herself. Always smiling, always in a great mood, and always honest despite the fact that she had a tough life - a husband lost at an early age, and her home burnt down just after her first bout with cancer. It's especially sad to see her fall to the cancer after seeing such a positive attitude around the office and such a strong person. I for one will miss her and I consider myself lucky to have known such a unique person!

Aw, damn. That is bad news. She was a nice lady who was a fighter ... whether it was the challenges in her life that would have turned a lot of us into basket cases or cornering me on my conservative politics. We had creative and journalistic differences but I liked the lady and am better for having worked with her.

God Bless her.

She used to hook me up with Hot Chocolate!! She was such a cool gal. I will miss her!

I am so sad to hear of Cynthia's passing. As Darwin said, she'd been through so much in her life and always handled her troubles with grace. I will miss her so much.
