D Ankarlo starts after the first on KTAR. He is one of the answers to your complaints.

KTAR is a QUALITY presence in the Valley and will remain that.

WE are a news station. We are THERE first and factually with the largest news team in the valley.
That's a good reason to keep listening. The talk is another good reason, Great Guests and topics.
If you enjoyt being yelled at and called stupid thare are many places on the dial where you'll find that punsihment. The other choice ius just bang your head against the wall.

Ah, yes. The great topics. :D

Is it raining where you are?
What is your favorite Bill Johnson's menu item?
When will it reach 100 degrees?

I love listening to the news on KT'R--morning and afternoon. I just can't stomach the toaster talk!! ::)

KTAR is an up to date and interesting radio station.

If it were still 1974.

Are we going to have another 2 hour lame treatment of "A Christmas Carol" this year? Yeah, that never gets old.

(oh, gee, the Mayor is making a joke, what hilarity!)

When WILL it reach 100 degrees? ::)

Maybe 1964. They were doing all-news in 1974.

Yes. They're even promoting it on 860.

Jayaz, have you heard Darrell's show in Dallas? That's pretty much his schtick. That and making ridiculous statements in his whiny, annoying voice.

Just for fun, count how many times he uses the phrase "Pees his panties" in any given week. It's unusually high, and disturbing.

Yes, but from the promos I've heard, it's been buried Saturday night at 6 as opposed to past years where it's been aired in a weekday midday slot.

I don't think TMISU will permit Darrell and Karlo to say this on KT'R.

You can say "pees in your panties" on KTAR, but only when you are doing a commercial spot for Depends.

The 0.2% that call in on a given day will hate being yelled at, and the remaining 99.8% of us will enjoy listening to it. There's a reason the so-called "Jacorization" of talk radio stuck.

why is it so hard to get people who are smart and funny and non-abusive for talk radio? Is it a money thing? or do they just not exist? I remember them existing in the past. maybe they died out.
