D&C, Why Do I Torture Myself?

On occasion I still listen to D&C. On the average, I can't stand when they get on their "If you think like us, you're OK, if not, you're dumb" routine, but today they keep ripping on the various Patriot players who participated in "Larry-oake" (fundrasier where players sang Karaoke) It was promoted as a fun event, in which people who can't carry a tune would be signing, and that was the fun in it...just everyone having fun. What what are Mr. and Mr. Republican doing? They keep on playing cuts from the event, making fun of the guys, and saying how much they s**ked. Apparently they missed the memo where it said that's what it was supposed to be like.
 
Maybe they weren't invited. Switch over to 1510... the morning show on there is a lot better. They actually TALK SPORTS.

I like Jon Wallach, I like Mike Adams, I like that they carry the Sox, I like the Big Show, I like the fact Ted isn't there anymore, I LOVED when Callahan got suspended a couple yrs back.

Is that ok?

I switch between Big O and the Diehards (ya know...with that guy Rotillo, Robello, or whatever the ***** his name is LOL) I like Ryen and the gang, but it stink that they are on at the same time as Big O.

It's funny, I like sports radio AND talk radio, So I when something big happens, (non sports related) and they start talking about it, I like that...It gives off the sense that they aren't just sports machines, but humans with their own thought processes. And on a side note....it was actually fascinating to hear Smerlas talk about politics, Bush, war...and all that stuff....He sounded pretty knowledgeable. But I can't stand the way of thinking that they have that everyone else is wrong, and they are right...on everything.

I should give Murray in the Morning a shot though.
 
I don't like when the sports guys talk politics, actually. They often DON'T know what they're talking about. Smerlas? fascinating in a car-wreck way I suppose.

Murray is long gone... I didn't like that show because the sports coverage was limited and it was a lot of pop culture talk I couldn't care less about. The current combination, Matt Spiegel and Bill Leykas (sp?) is pretty good...

How ironic, the first thing I hear when I tune it, is the discussion about Cheryl Swoops, who will be coming out today LOL

I love The Whiner Line, I love the show's fill in hosts (Burton, Buckley, (formerly) Holley, McAdams, Johnson, etc etc), I like that The Clueless Pretty Boy Reporter Felger is gone, I like when D&C don't scream, chastise and scold for not agreeing with them, I like when D&C point out stupid people in the news

DeOssie and Smerlas talking politics? Meh, interesting for 5 minutes.
