At the time I am writing this 11:31pm, the wind is gusting and damaging but not a single channel is live about the weather. That is a serious disservice to the public.
 
That's because they go on the air for large hail, damaging winds and tornadoes. Winds involved with a thunderstorm complex. Didn't see you complaining about the weathermen when we had those damaging winds that weren't involved with storms 2 weeks ago.
