Think any station has anyone up at Chelo's for the Deal Or No Deal auditions today? I'm willing to bet hopefulls are lining up already. I'm sure only WPRO has actual reporters but it wouldn't even hurt to have someone there from any station for morning show clips.

I went to the show on Wednesday. Had a good time. I posted about the whole experience on The National Board.

No way I'm waiting in line with a ton of other people for an audition. I applied to be on the show, but I'm just going to the studio if they call me for an interview. No crazy lines that way. It's only an hour away. Well an hour and 3 minutes to be exact. I timed it on the way home from their studio to my house. That was even in afternoon traffic.

It would make sense even if there's no news person for an intern to go out there and interview a few people to play back on morning shows. We're living in an age where everybody is a star, hence the popularity of American Idol, reality TV shows, and the way everyone portrays himself online on social networking sites. People want to hear about themselves. I saw a story recently that CHR radio spends too much time talking about the station and not enough time talking about the listeners and what affects them. Everybody is a star and radio has to accept it.
