I was asked this today and couldn't answer it:

Who voiced the Old Man Rivers spot wraparound? The gravelly voice that said "Old Man Rivers Keeps Rolling Along" ?? It started and ended every concert spot for Old Man Rivers.

Sam "Bo" Roberts did the spots...but I'm pretty sure the wrap-around was by Doug Christian. Since both are expected at Cap's in just a few weeks, maybe we can polygraph 'em and find out fer shurr.

Well, I knew it was done at WRNO and knew it was one of ya.

I watched '' Mr. Roberts" cut the spot many times and that's why he came to mind.
