Dagmar reported on the expected weather conditions for tonight's (Aug. 18) Braves-Mets game at Turner Field. Only problem, the game is being played at Citifield in Flushing Meadow, NY. You can't make this stuff up.
 
Add this to the file: She just said that there are sprinkles around "Sandwoody." She meant Sandy Springs and Dunwoody. Geeezz.
 
hmmmm. I'm sure Schwaid knows that a credible weather team should be comprised of meteorologists..i wonder what will happen to the weather "actress". a tight sweater and red hair can only go so far.....
 
Boy, I would kill to know what the UGA broadcast journalism
students think of Dagmar! I was there when Gail Janus did the
weather on 11 Alive, and by and large they hated everything about
her, from her looks to her lack of the AMS seal. Since I haven't
seen Dagmar, I can't offer an opinion, but Gail did tone down some
of the cutesiness...not enough to avoid being replaced by an AMS
meteorologist, Russ Minshew (R.I.P.).
