Dagmar is Back! - In San Diego at KNSD

Suprised me she found a weather presenting gig but good she gets another start. Don't need to know much about forcasting in southern california though. This partial NBC O&O did farmed out evening weather from LA weather presenter legend Fritz Coleman.

She is a better fit for a non-factor weather market like San Diego, like L.A., their weather problems are practically minor to non-existent compared to the major severe weather we see here in the Southeast. Now she can stay there and be happy and leave the Atlanta DMA news stations to having actual meteorologists, where they are needed.

I've noticed both CBS ATLANTA and CHANNEL 2 displays "certified meterologist" under each metorologist name.

All 4 local news stations place the certified broadcast meteorologist logo on those that actually have the higher accredidation. Channel 2 has 3 (Glenn, David & Brad), Channel 5 has 2 (Joanne & Steve), Channel 11 has 2 (Chesley & Chris) and 46 has Justin.
Now channel 2's Karen, Channel 5's Ken & Jeff, 11's Mike and 46's Makina and Jennifer still have the old seal.

MIke Francis is on the official list but it says that he has not filed for renewal. I figure inthis market the chief would keep it up to date.

WSB radio's Kirk Mellish also is a CBM. I am not sure why WSB is letting Karen slide on this.

updates

Markina was spelled wrong.

It looks like Jennifer has neither seal and Justin only has the original seal but Cris on 46 has the CBM.

She is a meteorologist and got her broadcast meteorology degree from Miss State like many tv weather people. In fact the same place Markina got her weather degree.

How about Cheryl White on FOX 5? She's apart of the FOX 5 Storm Team too.
