Daily Blast Live

Just read on the other board that Tegna's Daily Blast Live will have its last show Sept. 6. It's been compared to The List tanking on Scripps stations.
I'll be interested in seeing what a couple of Tegna stations I follow will put in that time. WFMY carries just 30 minutes of DBL (3-3:30) followed by the daytime airing of Jeopardy! WXIA has the full hour (2-3), and I think there are a couple of ABC affiliates (WVEC and WHAS) that have it from 3-4 as lead-ins to their 4 PM newscasts (WFAA may also be one). Anybody know what new syndicated shows might fill the time?

WCNC carries it from 2-3. I could see them putting Judge Judy from 2-3pm to have two hours of Judge Judy and putting Daytime Jeopardy at 12:30pm. They could also expand Charlotte Today. Or they could stay with 3 runs of Judge Judy and move the 3pm Judge Judy hour to 2pm and starting a 3pm newscast (or to 1pm and moving NBC News Daily to 2pm).

Option 1
11am Charlotte Today
11:30 WCNC News
12:30 Daytime Jeopardy
1pm NBC News Daily
2pm-4pm Judge Judy

Option 2
11am Charlotte Today
Noon WCNC News
1pm NBC News Daily
2pm-4pm Judge Judy

Option 3
11am Charlotte Today
11:30 WCNC News
12:30 Judge Judy
1pm NBC News Daily
2pm-3pm Judge Judy
3pm WCNC News

Option 4
11am Charlotte Today
11:30 WCNC News
12:30-2pm Judge Judy
2pm NBC News Daily
3pm WCNC News

About time that DBL ended was on WZZM at 7:30PM it replaced ET's spinoff The Insider in the fall of 2017 which I thought should've put Page Six TV at 7:30PM and not at 10:30AM. I wouldn't be surprised that DBL was the dog show in the 7:30PM timeslot in West Michigan in my opinion will never know as West Michigan isn't a metered market for Nielsen Ratings.

It will be interesting to see what WZZM will air at 7:30PM could move ET from 7PM to 7:30PM ET has been 7PM since WZZM got it in 1994 from Wood TV been there forever. And put a 7PM newscast to compete with Wood TV as they're the only 7PM newscast on in this market. Seems that TV station groups creating shows don't do well on their stations and very few outside the TV group will air it, I think Scripps aired DBL on a handful of stations 2018 and a lot dropped it after a year I know in Lansing was on Fox47 late at night and their MyNet TV station aired it in the afternoon when I saw it on a TV programming website as I like to check out what different local TV stations air in syndication. And Sinclair also signed on for a handful of stations this year.

WFMY is starting a "Good Afternoon Show" from 3 to 3:30 Sept. 9. The show is similar to WFAA's "Good Afternoon Texas." Daytime Jeopardy! stays at 3:30. In the off-network slots prior to 8 PM, the two episodes of Jeopardy! (3:30 and 7:30) and Wheel of Fortune (7 PM) will be the only syndicated shows on WFMY. They will continue to have the Good Morning Show, as well as news at noon, 4, 5, and 6.

WUSA is adding "Great Day Washington" from 3 to 3:30; again, this is similar to WFAA's show. Inside Edition follows at 3:30.

just checked WFAA's website's listing from September 9th from 2 PM to 4 PM and here's what's changing to replace Daily Blast Live:
2 PM to 3 PM: Judge Manthis (repeats).
3 PM to 3:30 PM: Entertainment Tonight (most likely a repeat of the previous episode, in Monday's case, Friday's show).
3:30 PM to 4 PM: Inside Edition (moves from 2:30 to a hour later at this time).

canceled besides Daily Blast Live:
Good Morning Texas Extra at 2 PM to 2:30 PM.

I was surprised about Channel 8 dropping Good Morning Texas Extra. I believe at some point they might start a 6:30 PM newscast and ET will move to an earlier timeslot as it is on KARE; KDFW has already started one at 6:30.
I'm not surprised that KARE11 is adding Mario and Kit, and I won't be surprised if WXIA adds it as well.

WZZM will be airing Battle Ground at 7:30PM lasting until the election Fri Nov 8 will be it's last EP 3 days after the election in my opinion. Maybe after that put a Judge Judy repeat in the 7:30PM timeslot but I hope they will put True Crime News in that timeslot. Access Daily has been on WZZM since COVID hit in APR of 2020 at 9AM to 10AM. As WZZM never brought back their pay-for-play show in that hour.

KPNX (NBC Phoenix) will replace Daily Blast Live by extending 12 News at 1 to a full hour from 1-2 PM (maybe they'll actually do live reports/weather for once on this newscast!!) pushing Arizona Midday to literally close to mid-afternoon from 2-2:30 & then In Depth with Graham Bensinger from 2:30-3.

WGRZ Buffalo is moving Entertainment Tonight from 7 pm to 7:30 pm (former time for Daily Blast Live) and starting a new news half hour (Buffalo Nightly News) at 7pm.

Did anyone watch the last show? How was it if you did?
I'm assuming it wasn't anything too momentous as from what i remember of this show they didn't ever really have celebrity guests interviews or anything like that....

Bumping this up as I noticed looking at Zap2It, KPNX is still showing In Depth at 2:30, but only Mondays-Wednesdays as they now show Momcast hosted by 12 News reporter Emma Jade on Thursdays & their weekly public affairs/political show Sunday Square Off on Fridays in addition to their regular Sunday morning airing.

My bet is the CBS stations will just slip the new soap in that slot if possible

Beyond the Gates is scheduled to run at 2 (ET)/1 everywhere else. That will give the affiliates 3/2 unless they run Let's Make a Deal at that time. But since Daily Blast Live is history, it doesn't matter; they've already filled the time with other shows.

I suspect KUSA 9 will replace it with whatever is normally on other NBC affiliates at that house while KTVD 20 (Which ran it an hour later) has filled with more courtroom or garbage talk shows
