Daily Buzz show

A quick glance of http://dailybuzznation.com/local-stations/

showed no reference to: Atlanta, Baltimore, Cedar Rapids, Chicago, Cincinnati, Detroit, Indianapolis, Kansas City, Las Vegas, Memphis, Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Philadelphia, Richmond, Quad Cities, Shreveport, Tulsa, Wichita.

I can't tell if the website list is up-to-date or not. I did notice a link to watch the show live from their website (http://dailybuzznation.com/live-feed/) if a market happens not to carry the show.

looking at the list of affiliates, I do not see any well known stations carrying the show and majority of their affiliates are CW stations. In Montana all their outlets are CW stations.

Thats mainly Daily Buzz affiliates. Either CW or Ind. stations. Most Fox affliates now have their own morning news compared to 10 years ago. I was shocked when KOKH in OKC added a morning news a few years ago.

My local FOX station (WHNS-21) used to carry it before dropping it for 'real' newscasts at 5-9am. Then now-defunct-commercial indie WNEG-32 (now non commercial WUGA) picked up the rights of the show in this market despite WNEG/WUGA has an inadequate signal/Pay-TV coverage in this market. After WNEG became WUGA, DB is a no show here.

Other markets I known that still carry it include WCBD 2.2 in Charleston, SC and WAGT 26.2 in Augusta (both CW+ Affiiates).

Almost all CW Plus affiliates air The Daily Buzz. If it wasn't for them the show would have been canceled years ago.

It looks like it's on mostly CW affiliates, plus a few Fox affiliates in minor markets. Here in Boston, it was originally on the CW affiliate, WLVI, and I think they showed the final hour only. Knowing Sunbeam (the company that owns WLVI), they dropped it and moved to independent (formerly MyTV) WBIN from Derry, NH.

WBNX in Cleveland still carries the show, going back to when they were affiliated with The WB. They used to air three hours, but now its just two. I saw it a few times when it came on, and it came across as a college newscast.

It does originate from Full Sail University in Orlando, so it could be considered a "college newscast."

I always thought of The Daily Buzz as 20 percent news/information and 80 percent "satellite press tours" paid for by advertisers. Not much substance of significance on the show, that's why the ratings are miniscule.
