Thank you, Jerry Jones, for taking arena football seriously, and putting Brad Sham on the play-by-play for the Dallas Desperados AFL team. I've been an arena fan since back in the day when it was the Dallas Texans, and Mike Trigg (who won an AFL championship as coach of Grand Rapids) was an assistant.
That was back in the day when the Texans were on KLIF, and it was (I have gone completely blank.. help please), doing the play-by-play. Since there were lots of East Texas State Lions on the roster, I had this naive hope that I would get to be on the broadcast crew. hahahahahaha.
I'm not saying that the Ticket productions of Arena ball were bad, but they were full of the usual Ticket Shtick, and sometimes detracted from the game. I'd still love to do the pbp (I mean, who wouldn't), but I'm just very glad that its Brad on the broadcast.
Good Job, Jerry!!!
