'Dallas' fan reunion planned

No, not another TV special, but an actual event for fans to attend at Southfork Ranch, according to

http://www.dallasnews.com/sharedcon...tories/081308dnmetdallasreunion.3e336bf2.html

Larry Hagman, Linda Gray, and Patrick Duffy have all said they will come to the event, celebrating the 30th anniversary of the show (a little late, it started in April 1978), which will be held Nov. 8. Tickets can be had at the bargain price range of $100-$1000 (!), and charities including the National Kidney Foundation will benefit from the reunion. Tours of the property, Q&A/meet'n'greet, fireworks, and a C&W concert (talent not named yet) will all take place as part of the event.

Tickets are available starting Aug. 22, at www.dr30.com, and more info is at www.ultimatedallas.com/dallasreunion

A short interview with Larry Hagman follows the article at the top link.

Also, FYI, the 'Dallas' exhibit mentioned in this earlier thread,
http://www.radio-info.com/smf/index.php/topic,103345.0.html
is ongoing at the Bob Bullock Texas State History Museum in Austin until Sept. 14.

Maybe it's the 30th anniversary of the first full season of the show. Will Mary Crosby be there? After all, she "shot J.R.!" ;D

I wonder if Tina Louise will be there? She skipped all the reunion-related stuff with Gilligan's Island; maybe she will come to this one!

Maybe Priscilla Presley will show up, if there isn't too much Elvis-related stuff going on somewhere else! 8)

Linda Gray, Victoria Principal, Charlene Tilton, Joan Van Ark, Christopher Atkins should all be there, too! :D

I hear she's going so she can look for her old face that got left somewhere on the ranch. I hope she finds it because the new one ain't much to look at. ;D

The ghosts of Digger Barnes, Jock, Miss Ellie, and Miss Ellie II (Donna Reed) will all appear in a shower scene together to discuss the Lost Season.

I hope Linda Evans and Joan Collins appear. I'd like to see another catfight in the lilypond. Oh wait...wrong show. :p ;D ;D

If they made a new Dallas TV movie, they'd have to change part of the opening shot. This is going to be the last football season at Texas Stadium, which is seen in the show's opening montage. The venue in Irving will be demolished at the conclusion of the season, as the Cowboys will be moving into a new palace in another nearby suburb.
