I Always thought that Baron James looks like one of them "Pimp Preachers" you'd see at The Potters House, as well as heather hayes's leather neck. Steve Noviello is a bit too "Nelly" for my taste, makes you wonder on his sexual preference. Dan Henry is a very poor replacement for Tim Heller (Now chief meterologist at ABC 13 in Houston), some say ron jackson had a hand in him leaving. Max Miller needs to get the pink slip, doesnt hold a candle to Doocy.

I have a feeling JaM may get split up sooner or later, seeing jane is getting "Long In The Tooth" in this business, someone who uses the term "Snoopity Dogg" needs to reassess her career choices. I like David and Rebecca for the fact they have a handle on both the weather and the audience. Steve Mac is a televised trainwreck, blame the news director bringing him in. Derek is one of the better sports anchors in this market, I hope he stays on for a good long time, I also hope they get rid of New Dog as he frankly is not major market material. Cash has to go, no doubt about it. Same with Higgins, he's had his shot, time for someone with better chops...I say elise morgan, as she held her own at KWTX 10 in Waco or Wendy Wolfolk, whom I worked with at KXAN 36 in Austin.

WFAA is a joke, time to do a massive house cleaning, Save Gloria,John, Troy and McCauley. Dale barely does sports anymore, reminds me of the old lion you see at the zoo with gummy jaws and thinning mane. Strahan is just terrible, worse than Newey
> KTVT/11 -- As far as presentation goes, probably the most
> polished and professional of the four big ones. Tracy
> Rowlett is the dean of N. Texas newscasters, but he needs to
> be paired with someone more recognizable than Karen Borta.
> (Not Iola Johnson -- that experiment unfortunately failed.)

> Burger is much more solid and even-keeled. Babe Laufenberg
> needs a deeper voice, but other than that his sports
> presentation is solid. Brian Custer needs to drop the
> hip-hop, Stuart Scott sports attitude (although it's OK for

I like Tracy, true elderstatesmen for this market, deserves more than Karen CyBorta (shes so...automotomic). KK needs to be moved into the weather office or back to her old job at Fox 7 in Austin, shes too skiddish for television. In her place, move up Mike Berger. Babe is solid, Custer and his "ghetto" thing is overplayed and Dennis need to cut the Doocy schtick.

WB33: They have a news department?? Crespo needs to buy a new expression, Freddy Barnes needs to get that eye looked at and Irzyk just stinks.
