Dallas-Ft. Worth Arbitron Radio Ratings: July 2012

Publicly released age 6+ overall rankings for the July 2012 survey period covering Thu. 6/21/12 - Wed. 7/18/12.

The next survey period will be for August 2012 covering Thu. 7/19/12 - Wed. 8/16/12 with the report release date being Tue. 9/4/12
(delayed one day due to Labor Day holiday on Mon. 9/3/12).

Note: stations that do not subscribe to Arbitron in certain markets will not show in those markets.
 
Just an observation here.. I drive Central Expressway every day and have not seen a billboard for any of those stations in years.
I see billboards for lots of stations, but not those.

I can't recall the last time I saw an ad on TV for a radio station either. It seems to me that what worked in years past to promote radio stations would work today. The problem is, those ads cost money and station owners are all about NOT spending money.

I don't think they understand the concept of having to spend money to make money. I know KSKY has done some billboards for Mark Davis, but it really hasn't been enough.

DFW Radio ad rates are about 50% of what they were before the recession. There ain't no money for it. Anything extra is going toward the debt load.
 
Ran in to two more friends today who asked "what happened to Mark Davis?" They had no idea he was on KSKY.
They have some work to do.
