Dallas-Ft. Worth Radio Ratings - Holiday 2022

Sometimes Russ was his own worst enemy as far as where the show went in later years. I don't think Clo even worked for the station back when the show was going strong or at KLLI when they moved there.

I have no hostility towards The Freak and what they are trying to do. Russ didn't get fired and replaced by the Freak crew. He died. And the Treehouse without Russ was a different kind of show. I don't really see them as any better or any worse than Ben and Skin. They could have kept them and moved them to a different time slot and they could have fit in with the new format. Did the pedo thing really kill the treehouse, or was it just lower ratings than what they show had when Russ was alive.

I, for one, would like to see more talk radio that wasn't about Politics, Religion or Sports, but nobody around here seems to want to do that.

It’s just the “talk” makes no sense. It sounds unfocused. The hosts clearly aren’t “hot talk” hosts but a bunch of sports guys. Forcing these hosts to talk about different topics clearly isn’t working or else it would reflect in demos/ratings. How is the station this low in the ratings during Mavericks season? How are the ratings low still when you had hosts from the former format on the freak? They’re trying. But, it’s just a weird station
