Dallas gets Movin

CBS flips long time Jazz format on 107.5 yesterday, could Jack be next before they sell?

I wouldn't bet on it. Normally, you don't invest in a format flip when you've already announced a divestiture.

yeh it sucks they dumped the oasis. now houston is the only city with smooth jazz...once again I praise XM.

You praise it all but the audio quality right?

Even if the sale isn't final yet, BMP's already running things at KTSA and Jack. I'd say the format is their call now.

If anyone flips formats in the near future, I'd bet on KELZ 106.7. Checking out the Streamaudio.com website, the Z-106.7 logo is missing. The last few times a Cox station's logo has disappeared, it's meant a format change. However, it has also meant just a logo change in the past.

I wouldnt count on Z changing.

I didn't say it had changed, jras, I said it looks like it will. If a change is coming, whether format or logo, Cox won't reveal it until they're ready. Streamaudio, however, may pull the logo in advance of the unveiling because they need to get the new one up on time. Streaming providers are notorious for telegraphing changes.

Maybe Naomi Fuentes took it when she skipped town and Cox for Niagara Falls? ;) ;)

Well remember back on Halloween day in 2003 was when Z was born, maybe somethings up over there.
