Dallas HD radio

Re: Dallas HD radio follow up

About a month ago, KTCK 1310 turned on its IBOC for a few days, and then turned it back off. Haven't heard it on since.

Word on the radio grapevine is that there were technical problems and that the KTCK is waiting on iBiquity to tell them how to fix them. Still waiting, apparently.

It seems that most AM stations are running Harris transmitters. Most of the Harris units have had to be sent back to the factory for some kind of upgrade/adjustment. Typically the AM station is off for about 3-4 weeks and then come back on.
