Dallas Mavericks to WFAA/KMPX

Not on YTTV yet
YTTV dropped two Phoenix stations, KTVK/3 and KASW/61 when they signed the Phoenix Suns and (originally) Coyotes. Now that the Coyotes have moved to Utah, they signed them, plus the Vegas Golden Knights. They have not been reinstated.

I'd be surprised if they kept KFAA, although maybe they could work out a deal.

I just took a look at the KFAA-TV schedule... That's some set of seriously obscure syndicated "reality" programming!
All that is from Tegna's digital TV network Quest. Hopefully, it's just filler until they get other programming, particularly since WFAA 8.4 carries it full-time.

First Mavericks game on KFAA is tonight at 9pm. Pregame at 8:30, postgame afterwards. Curious to see the graphics package and branding treatment.

Where is their TV schedule? I looked online but can't find it. Always wondered what their rest of the schedule is like outside Mavs coverage.

It's just Quest TV outside Mavs basketball, a daily afternoon Mavs show and repeats of WFAA's 5-7AM news and WFAA's local infomercial show "Good Morning Texas.

Anyone watch the first Mavericks game on KFAA last night, or along the Mavs OTA network? I’m not in DFW, but curious about the production quality and aesthetics. I don’t have NBA League Pass.

i think NBA TV is involved in producing the games as it looks like they used the NBA TV graphics for the game instead of a in house graphic.

I imagine the value of the KFAA Mavericks deal just took a dump with the Luka Doncic trade. Mavericks fans are furious, and I would think TEGNA executives aren’t too pleased, either.

Unless this is a straight barter deal and the Mavericks control all aspects of sales and production.

that case, i wouldn't be surprised if TEGNA has quickly started talks with the Dallas Stars about airing their games OTA on KFAA/WFAA as well on top of the games already slated for air on ABC nationally.
