Dallas McCade Leaving Mornings at Kick

Kicks 101-5 announced this morning that Dallas McCade is leaving Cadillac Jack and the morning show to become the station's music director and do some weekday on-air work. Cadillac's new co-host will be announced later in the week.

I'm not clear on whether Dallas will do a regular weekday shift. IMHO Kicks is weak in middays with Ali Mac.

I have no idea who Caddy's new co-host will be. But one person who comes to mind is Cassiday, whom Kicks PD Scott Lindy hired at Star 94. She has a good morning show voice and delivery. But, I have not even heard a rumor about who is actually being hired.

Kicks announced this morning that CJ from the afternoon show and Ali Mac from middays will be joining Cadillac Jack in mornings. Someone will be brought in for afternoon drive. Dallas McCade will handle middays.

The morning show strategy is kind of like what B98.5 will be doing starting on July 10, having 2 male hosts and a third (female) person. Putting Dallas in middays will certainly strengthen that slot.
