Dallas, Meet Your New Neighbor... Glenn Beck!

Why would they. They should try to get him to originate his show from their studios. It would not hurt.

... just keep bringing the money to Texas! Welcome Mr. Beck, Welcome.

Glenn Becks new TV network? Let's think about this for a minute. FOX already has most of the whack-job, right-wing-nuts, except for a few...VERY few.

Perhaps Beck can hire Michael Savage (Michael Alan Weiner ), bring in his buddy Joe Pags, perhaps Michael Berry, Lyndon Hermyle LaRouche, (wrong party), uhm, Chris Baker (for some REAL Texas twang), Indiana's Greg Garrison, and maybe a weekly 'fireside chat' with Pat Buchanan and a weekly 'deer hunting special' with Ted Nugent. Rick Perry can offer lessons on how to secede from the Union and Sarah Palin can give geography lessons.

I'll bet Beck can get Coors Beer to underwrite part of it if not all of it...

Sounds like a line-up to me. Rupert Murdoch better watch out. ::) :D :'(

I think this is a pretty logical move for a guy like Beck. New York was just not his kind of town. I thought I read something earlier this week about an angry crowd accosting him and his family while they were in a park in NYC. If he comes here, he's more likely to find adoring fans than an angry mob. I think in general though he'll find he'll be able to go where he wants without much notice.

I don't know if he's moving his entire operation here, but it wouldn't surprise me. His website based TV station is a risky venture to say that least. He calls it "too early" to do something like this.. and he's probably right. I think more than anything he just wants to be able to do what he wants without anyone wringing their hands over what advertisers might do.

Yea he would fit right in here. He will free up some cash. Many are leaving NYC and going other places. Limbaugh went to Fla, Mike Gallagher went to Southlake(?) and now we get Beck. If he does it right he can make money. If a nutcase like Alex Jones can do his thing from Austin and own a $2 Million dollar house then more power to him. Charge subscriptions and maybe even get on Sirius.

Beck likes to have his guests live on the set over having them on a sat link.

So, it makes sense, if you're going to fly in guests from all over the US, then DFW is an easy flight connection for guests to come in and out of.

Beck can hang out with D. Barton, Perry, and S. Palin, when she moves here...

Plus, Beck already wants to have a foot hold here, when Texas secedes from the Union of Socialist States of America... :D

Can someone tell me how this post has anything to do with D/FW radio? Unless Beck is getting his own show on a local station, this post is becoming more irrelevant.

United Socialist States of America? Really???

Well, let's break it down...

D/FW - The place where Glenn Beck is moving.
Radio - The medium that has made Glenn Beck rich and famous.

Need further explanation, or are we good?

My response was so snarky I edited it into nothing. You said it very well ;)

As far as Mr. Beck's living here, why do you care? Unless he's moving next door to you (and how many on here can afford to live in Westlake) where he lives doesn't impact your life at all.

Steelers legend Terry Bradshaw lives in Cowboys country? Who knew?
