Dave is back on Free FM this weekend (10 & 11 Feb). This time he has another guy and female with him. He still sounds great. Kind of sounds permanent. Not sure since I didn't hear the beginning of hour. Take KZON off of the Jerk List.

Do you know who joined him today? Missed the show but will be tuning in tomorrow. Hopefully keepdave.com will have the audio as they did the last time he was on.
 
I'm glad you guys liked the show and I'm glad KZON is trying out some new shows, but Dameshek still sounds like a "work in progress" to me.

I hope they keep trying out some new shows. It would be nice if they could find a show from out of town that has been doing this for a few years. Adam in the mornings is good and leykis in the afternoon is really good. I'm glad there's a local show at night, but maybe they could bring someone in for the middle of the day. The show on right now is un-bearable.

I think this station is really close to being very good. Keep the new stuff coming until find one that works...
 
Caught a small part of the show during my lunch hour at my weekend job...and heard Dave doing a game called "Hypothetical Horatio" (pardon the spelling if it is incorrect) where callers try to insert the mono-tone one liners from CSI MIAMI's Horatio Caine. Funny stuff! But, what I don't understand is why CP has been "babysitting" Dave??? Any theories? I know on the last show I heard , Dave was having some real issues with the phones and such.
 
CP is a great PD AND A great guy if he's "babysitting"I'm sure it only to help out.
 
Please don't take my babysitting comment as a slam on Dave or CP. I used to work (indirectly) with CP when he was at the edge ..and you are right..he is good people! Just found it odd to hear him doing the show with Dave is all. So there it is there. ;D
 
Even though from time to time I do like FHF I do think the show is too L.A. for Phoenix. I would bump O&D up to middays and plug in some syndicated show in evenings. MY vote would be for Don and Mike on tape delay. I get their podcasts daily and they still have a really good show!!

Tape Delay? Ugh. As if Free-FM needs anymore canned shows. FM (hot) talk is hard to pull off, and FREE-FM is a disaster, Big O and Dukes are really not a bad show, it's a shame that they're stuck on the CBS Radio Titanic, using your suggestion that would give FREE-FM 12 hours of taped programming, they'd be better off reverting to "Free rock" at that point.

I will agree that Frosty, Heidi and Frank need to go--the show is unlistenable, L.A.centric and just not at all thought provoking in ANY way.
