Okay...at risk of being called a Dan and Tasos apologist, they've been doing pretty good in place of P&K. Granted, anything would be an improvement from those two...but D&T haven't sucked...which is a total shock to me. Makes me wonder how long they show preped for 4 days worth of shows...

You are a Dan and Tasos apologist.

Anyone can sound like they know what their doing if they prep for 1 topic per hour (that's right - one per HOUR) and then rely on callers to fill the void left by their own lack of talent. If you are wanting to be bored to tears waiting for some nugget of originality to shine through the mediocrity, then by all means, listen to Dan and Tasos.

I suggest the theory that the only reason P&K and D&T even have jobs is the fact that there are all about the same age as the PD, Gavin.

Dan has potential, but he needs to lose 300lbs if he's going to get anywhere.<P ID="signature">______________

I think they have done a good job.....they need a little work, but come on, give 'em a break. Plus anything is better than P&K reruns!!(no offense K, but P grates on my last nerve!!)

I guess this all is based on the interpretation of good. I think that D&T might be good if they injected some originality into their show instead of trying to sound like Russ with their inflections and laughter. LIVE is definitely in need of some original local talent to fill the void that will be left in mornings and possibly replacing you know who in mid-days

I would guess this is Gavins way of putting up a test balloon to see if D&T can handle a daily show. Having them do the show while P&K are on vacation is a good way to do it. If they suck, then he can say "Hey we just had them filling in, no big deal" and if they do well he can take credit for grooming them.
If they blow this, they won't get another chance anytime soon.
But, they need a lot of work. I didn't think anyone could be any more stupid than Kelly. I was wrong. Tasos is one dumb guy. If Dan were to ever get a real co-host, he could really have a chance.

Pugs doesn't bug me as much as Kelly does. Pugs' raspy, whiney voice I can handle.
It's the stupid that really puts me off.
Is Kelly really as dumb as dirt or is it an act she puts on to try and seem coy and cute? Sybil has that angle pretty well covered and it seems genuine. (And personally, I love her kind of dopey, unassuming giggle.)
Kelly just comes across as a moron. A complete and total idiot.
Playing dumb from time to time on a topic is one thing. But the repeated daily dose of dumb-ass is just mind numbing.

They lack innovation and orginality, they're a clone of ron and don or jon and jeff,except they have a decent looking chick(sybil) with a nice rack and thats about it. Add to the fact they run 2/3rds of their show as live spots, it gets boring real quick. I had a better time getting my colon irrigated ;)

Radio & records had Diamond David Lee Roth taking over Howard Stern's slot. Something was said about a September start????
Can you imagine that dumb, pumped up/cosmeticly altered bimbo Kelly gushing all over DLR??? Of course Pugs will offer special favors to DLR because he loves him sooo much, midday FM radio in the DFW market-how sad/bad/terrible for us. Yet, Gavin will stay the course!!! Good little Yes Man that he is.
Dan and Tasos need work but if gavin finds his balls or get's his orders to axe P&K or send them to overnights, he just might be forced to put Dan & tasos at mid-days. Hey, they are cheap and will do remotes.

Did anyone find it odd that Sybil was in this week???
I am willing to bet that Sybil ends up doing traffic and Valerie may get axed.
This is what will piss off Russ, just as Dwana Byrd told him.

Valerie won't get the axe unless Russ tells him too.
Everyone knows that Gavin is just another member of the Russ Martin YES SIR club. Nothing of importance goes on at that station without the real bosses say-so.
